Getter Club: Terms of Use

Welcome to the Getter Club

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Getter mobile application (the "App"), brought to you by Getter Club ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. This is our shared understanding for a respectful community.

1. Your Agreement with Getter Club

By using the Getter App, you confirm that:

• You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use.
• You are at least 18 years of age (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you are under this age, you have obtained parental or guardian consent.
• You will use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and in a way that respects the Getter Club community.

2. Using the App with Intention

Getter App provides personalized weight loss guidance and meal planning tools with a focus on simplicity and privacy:

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available." While built with care, we offer no formal warranties.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and the data you entrust to the App.
• You agree to use the App respectfully and not to misuse, disrupt, or exploit it or the Getter Club community in any way.

3. A Note on Health & Wellness

Getter App offers general fitness and nutritional information. It is a tool to support your journey, not a replacement for professional medical advice:

• The App is not a substitute for advice, diagnosis, or treatment from qualified health professionals.
• Always consult with a healthcare provider before beginning any new diet or exercise program.
• Individual results vary. Getter Club makes no guarantees regarding specific weight loss outcomes.
• Activities undertaken based on the App's suggestions are at your own discretion and risk.

4. Your Content, Your Space

When you provide information through the App:

• You retain all rights to your personal data, which is stored locally on your device and/or in your encrypted backup.
• You agree not to submit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or otherwise objectionable.
• We may use anonymized and aggregated data solely to improve our services for the Getter Club community.

5. Our Intellectual Property & Yours

The App and its content are owned by Getter Club and protected by intellectual property laws:

• All trademarks, logos, images, and service marks are our property or that of our licensors.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent.
• Reverse engineering or attempting to extract the App's source code is not permitted.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Getter Club shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages from your use of the App.
• Our total liability for any claims under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any, as Getter is free to start).
• We are not responsible for health issues or injuries from following guidance in the App; please consult professionals.

7. Third-Party Services

The App may interact with third-party services for specific functionalities (like AI meal analysis):

• We do not share personally identifiable information with AI models.
• We are not responsible for third-party services or websites linked from our App.
• Use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

8. Changes to Your Access

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App if these Terms are breached, or at our discretion, to protect the Getter Club community or our services. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applicable in Dubai, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

10. Evolving with the Club

We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be communicated. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Please review periodically.
